Deep Tissue

 


Deep Tissue Massage is a very specific massage technique utilizing heavy pressure. The aim of deep tissue is to break up chronic patterns of tension in muscles. As the tension is diminished the muscles and surrounding fascia lengthen then reorganize along optimum patterns.

Deep Tissue Massage increases range of motion and flexibility. Helps release toxins that have been stored in the muscle for an extended period of time. This release can lead to soreness during the first 24 hours following the session; however, this should give way to a release of previous pain and tension.
